Jordan, Saudi Fund sign 2 agreements of $80m grant

AMMAN: The government and the Saudi Fund for Development, on Tuesday, signed two grants agreements worth $80 million, to implement a fiber optic and infrastructure project for industrial cities in Tafila, Madaba, Jerash and Salt governorates.

In the presence of Prime Minister Abdullah Ensour, the agreements, which come within the second phase of Saudi Arabia’s share in the Gulf Development Fund, were signed by Minister of Planning and International Cooperation Imad Fakhoury and SFD Vice Chairman and Managing Director Yousef Bin Ibrahim Al Bassam.
