AMMAN: The Minister of Agriculture of Jordan, Khalid Hnaifat, held a meeting with a delegation from the private sector in the Czech Republic in which they addressed aspects of bilateral cooperation in the field of agriculture, especially regarding the export of Jordanian agricultural products to the Czech market, such as peppers, cucumbers and tomatoes.
During the meeting, which was attended by the President and members of the Jordanian Association of Exporters and Producers of Fruits and Vegetables, the Czech delegation was told that Jordanian agricultural products should be able to meet the high quality standards required by Czech and European consumers, pointing out that the climate in Jordan makes it possible to produce the specific varieties demanded by the Czech market.
