NEW DELHI: On the penultimate day of his visit to China, Chief Minister K. Chandrasekhar Rao showcased investment opportunities in Telangana, in the form of a five-minute documentary on the State, at a seminar on ‘Business Opportunities for Hong Kong companies in the State of Telangana’.
In the presence of the Consul-General of India in Hong Kong, Prashant Agrawal, Mr. Rao addressed prospective investors, representatives of companies of different sizes on the forenoon of Tuesday at the Renaissance Harbor View Hotel. He interacted with the participants, offering his remarks on the seminar proceedings, followed by an interactive session, after which he had lunch with the participants and other dignitaries.
Earlier, Secretary Industries & Commerce Government of Telangana Arvind Kumar made a presentation outlining in detail, the investment opportunities in the youngest State of the Indian Republic, also giving them an overview of what was arguably an innovative Industrial Policy. Chairman of the Indian Chamber of Commerce in Hong Kong, Arunachalam summed up the proceedings in his concluding remarks.The high-level delegation from Telangana is scheduled to return to Hyderabad on Wednesday, after conclusion of the 10-day visit.
