KARACH: K-Electric and DP World have signed an agreement to establish a dedicated 132kV grid station at the Qasim International Container Terminal (QICT), a major gateway for Pakistan’s trade. The project is designed to deliver a reliable 26MW power supply to support the terminal’s expanding operations.

According to both organisations, the new grid station will enhance power resilience at the port, improve operational efficiency and support future electrification needs at QICT. The initiative aligns with the companies’ stated focus on sustainable and dependable energy solutions for industrial activity.
