Karachi Customs IMO foils bid to smuggle ice worth Rs15m to KSA

KARACHI: Collectorate of Customs team deputed at International Mail Office (IMO) on Shahra-e-Faisal thwarted an attempt to smuggle huge quantity of 11 crystal methamphetamine, commonly known as ICE. The seized drugs have an estimated market value of Rs15 million PKR.

Sources said that the parcel, booked by Sofia Nadeem from Hyderabad and addressed to Mujahid Javed Khan in Riyadh, Saudi Arabia, was detained for inspection based on intelligence provided by Collector Adeem Khan and Additional Collector Muhammad Faisal.
