Karachi Enforcement impounds smuggled goods worth Rs16.5m near Moachko choke

KARACHI: Collectorate of Customs Enforcement has foiled an attempt to smuggle huge quantity of smuggled goods including rolls of curtain cloth, foreign origin crushed betel nuts, smuggled tyres etc. were recovered. The value of seizure is to the tune of Rs16.5 million.

Sources said that received Chief Collector Customs Enforcement South Yaqoob Mako received credible information about smuggling of goods through Moachko choke point. He immediately directed Collector Usman Bajwa and Additional Collector Muhammad Faisal to enhance checking on the suspected routes.
