Karachi Enforcement to auction 10 used cars on December 13

KARACHI: Collectorate of Customs Enforcement will hold auction of old and used cars on on December 13, 2023.

Sources told that the auction, conducted on an ‘as is where is basis,’ will take place at the Anti-Smuggling Organization (ASO) NMB Wharf in Karachi.

Prospective bidders should take note of the auction conditions, requiring a 25 percent earnest money deposit and the submission of a copy of their Computerized National Identity Card (CNIC) on the spot for successful bids. Additionally, a sealed tender, accompanied by a pay order equivalent to 25 percent of the bid amount, made out in the name of the Collector of Customs (Enforcement) at Custom House Karachi, will be accepted against any lot one day before the auction at the auction section, Custom House, Karachi.

It is important to be aware that 10 percent income tax is applicable for filers, while non-filers will need to pay 20 percent of the bid amount along with their successful bid.

The auction will feature a diverse array of cars, each with its unique specifications. Here is a list of the vehicles that will be presented for bidding:
