FBR completes inquiries against 2,132 companies

KARACHI: The Federal Board of Revenue’s Directorate of Intelligence and Investigation has already completed their inquiries against 2,132 companies.

Sources informed Customs Today, the FBR chairman has ordered inquiries against the companies on the charges of gaining refund on bogus invoices.

For this purpose, a team was constituted comprising three most senior auditors including Sarzameen Khan, Sajid, Jameelur Rehman, Khalid Raza and Humayun in the department to conduct the inquiries.

The committee already completed inquiries against 2,132 companies, while reminders are being sent to the rest of the companies.
