KARACHI: Regional Tax Office (RTO-III) Karachi has successfully collected Rs 77939 millions during the month of May 2015 in the sum of direct and indirect taxes against the target of Rs. 80654 millions.
Ninety percent of the target was achieved while the Chief Commissioner Ahmed Saeed is still optimistic of achieving the target by the end of the current fiscal year 2015-16..
According to the data available to Customs Today, Rs. 4330 millions were collected as sales tax, Rs. 73 millions as federal excise duty and Rs. 73536 as income tax during the month of May 2015.
