Kazakhstan grain exports increased by 13% in Sep

WASHINGTON: New 2016/17 MY began successfully for Kazakhstan, namely with quite large grain export volumes, informs UkrAgroConsult. According to Kazakh statistics in September 2016the country exported 436.7 KMT of grain, which was 13% higher than in September 2015 (386.1 KMT). This was the largest volume exported since record result, observed in September 2010 (458.8 KMT).

Flour exports haven`t got pace yet. In September 2016 147.8 KMT was exported, which was only slightly higher than in the same month of 2015 – 147.3 KMT. It should be noted that for 2016/17 UkrAgroConsult expects 15-20% increase in Kazakh grain export potential, and 20-25% increase in flour exports.
