KCCA asks members to clear outstanding dues through PO & DD before 6pm today

KARACHI: Karachi Customs Agents Association (KCCA) asked its members to clear outstanding duty and taxes before 31-12-2019 up to 6:00 pm for payment through Pay Order & Demand Draft and till 9:00 pm for payment through cash.
In a statement KCCA said that members are hereby informed that in compliance of instructions given by SBP and to reconcile/settle the transactions on same day i.e. 31/12/2019 the NBP Customs House Branch will close WebBOC Counter for receipt of all clearing instruments like Pay Order and Demand Draft at 6:00 p.m. in order to balance their counters and hand over the clearing instruments to NIFT at 7:00 p.m. However, the cash receipts of duties can be processed till 9:00 pm on 31/12/2019.
Therefore, in order to avoid any inconvenience, members are advised to deposit their duties and taxes maximum by 6:00 PM on 31st December 2019.
