KCCA invites applications for 5th batch of mandatory course under Rule 99

KARACHI: Karachi Customs Agents Association (KCCA) invited applications from its members for participation in 5th batch of six days mandatory course under Rule 99 of Licensing Rules 2001 which will be conducted by the Directorate of Training in the month of Feb 2020.

In a statement, the KCCA stated that members who have not attended the course in the past two years are advised to submit their applications and Pay Order of Rs3500/- in favor of “The Directorate General of Training & Research Karachi” at KCAA Head Office along with Copy of CNIC and booklet, so that their training session will be finalized accordingly.

It is necessary to mention here that in response to Karachi Customs Agents Association’s application for the participation in the training course, the Directorate General of Training & Research, under rule 99 of customs agents licensing rules, has arranged the mandatory course during from 9:30am to 01:00pm at the Auditorium, Ground Floor, DGTR (Customs).

It is further mentioned that according to the Customs Rules, 2001, the Directorate General will entertain only the license holder agents (proprietors/ partners/directors) and not their employees/managers/ representatives in the subject course.
