KARACHI: President Karachi Chamber of Commerce and Industry (KCCI) Mussafar Ata Malik has urged State Bank of Pakistan Governor Tariq Bajwa to extend the date of circular regarding import on open account basis.
In a letter addressed to Governor State Bank he stated KCCI’s member firms have approached KCCI and informed that their consignments have been stuck up due to restrictions imposed by the circular which has created panic.
President KCCI urged that to safeguard the larger interest of the business community, it is necessary to extend the date up to September30, 2018 as to facilitate business community.
