KARACHI: Chairman Businessmen Group and Former President KCCI, Siraj Kassam Teli, Vice Chairmen BMG, Tahir Khaliq, Zubair Motiwala, Anjum Nisar & Haroon Farooki, President KCCI, Iftikhar Ahmed Vohra, Senior Vice President KCCI, Mohammad Ibrahim Kasumbi and Vice President KCCI, Agha Shahab Ahmed Khan, while congratulating Malala Yousufzai on winning Noble Peace Prize, said that Ms. Malala Yousufzai has become the youngest ever recipient of this prestigious prize and she rightly deserved this achievement because of her never-ending fight for the national cause of girls’ education.

In a statement issued, President KCCI Iftikhar Ahmed Vohra stated that this great achievement will motivate the entire nation, particularly the young generation, to raise voice against extremism and terrorism which have terribly tarnished the image of Pakistan.

This well-deserved achievement of Ms. Malala will also help in improving the image and clarifying many misconceptions about Pakistan. She really is an extraordinary young woman, and an inspiration to the millions of young people around the world struggling to find their way in an unkind world, he added.

Paying glowing tribute to the young girl for campaigning for girls’ education, he said that the entire business and industrial community of Karachi city salutes and highly praises the efforts made by Malala Yousufzai for her struggle against the suppression of children and young people.

He appreciated Ms. Malala for introducing Pakistan’s enlightened face to the world by lighting up a candle of education in a stuffy environment and proving it to the rest of the world that Pakistan is a country of peaceful people not extremists.
