KCCI for reforms in trade policy

KARACHI: Chairman of the Trade Development of Exports and Halal Food Sub-committee of Karachi Chamber of Commerce and Industry (KCCI), Agha Shahab Ahmed Khan has urged the need for reforms in trade policy so that the country can keep with the surging complex interdependence of global economy.

He said that flow of goods and services across borders needs periodical reviews and changes in the current patterns of trade policy.

Speaking at the first meeting of the committee, he stressed the need to change various policies according to the varying export patterns of current international market practices.

Karachi Chamber of Commerce and Industry President Abdullah Zaki was also present at the meeting. He endorsed Agha’s statement and emphasised the need for making extraordinary efforts to enhance exports of the country.
