KCCI, FPCCI urge FBR to amend new return form

ISLAMABAD: Karachi Chamber of Commerce and Federation of Pakistan Chambers of Commerce and other trade organisations have requested the Federal Board of Revenue to amend new income tax return form.

The Karachi Chamber of Commerce has written a letter to Member FBR Policy and Spokesperson Shahid Hussain in this regard in which it has been demanded to amend tax return and wealth statement to be restored to 2013 form.

However, the FBR has declined to amend tax return form. The sources in the FBR said that new return form is comparatively easy and FBR’s Fate Wing has made it on tax defaulters that the return form would not be changed.
