KCCI to hold meeting of ports, shipping & multi-model transport body on Feb 8

KARACHI: Karachi Chamber of Commerce and Industry (KCCI) will hold the first meeting of ports, shipping & multi model transport sub-committee on February 8, 2020 at 3:30 p.m. at KCCI.

According to schedule issued by Deputy Secretary KCCI Mukhtar Ibrahim, the meeting will be started with the recitation of the Holy Quran. Chairman of Ports, Shipping & Multi Modal Transport Committee Hassan Sheikh Vohra will deliver welcome address. President Karachi Chamber of Commerce and Industry Agha Shahab Ahmed Khan, Senior Vice President KCCI, Shahid Ismail will also address the participants of the meeting.

The participants will also consider confirmation for the Minutes of 2nd meeting of ports, shipping and multi model transport sub-committee 2018-2019 held on February 21, 2019 at Majeed Bawani Auditorium of Karachi Chamber of Commerce and Industry (minutes of the meeting will be placed during the meeting).

Introduction of new members of ports, shipping and multi modal transport sub-committee 2019-2020 is also agenda.

The participant of the meeting will also discuss about the strategy of ports, shipping and multi modal transport sub committee and further upcoming meetings with representatives of Federal Board of Revenue, ports and shipping lines and others to discuss the issues pertaining to the sub-committee. Any other matter will also come into discussion with the permission of the Chair.

Members are requested to kindly bring and email written suggestions, recommendations pertaining to above agenda items and make it convenient to attend the said meeting on exact date and time indicated above.
