Anti-Counterfeit Agency inspector Joseph Akorot said investigations will be done to establish whether they have permission to use the Mwea brand.

“We recommend whether the directors should be prosecuted after analysis,” he told the press at the factory on Tuesday.

Sirat Vision Ltd director Abdi Mohamed said his company has been repackaging rice legally.
