NAIROBI: A delegation of the Board of KENTRADE, an operator of Kenya’s single desk customs procedure is presently in Senegal for an official visit to its partner Gaïndé 2000.
In a statement, Gaïndé 2000 explains that this visit will allow KENTRADE to learn more from the experiences of Senegal in terms of paperless customs clearance procedures.
The Kenyan delegation is scheduled to visit the headquarters of Gaindé 2000 in Dakar on 1st October.
Gaïndé 2000 has been providing technical assistance to the government of Kenya since 2005, through a collaboration that enabled the country’s customs revenue to substantially go up while modernizing its foreign trade formalities.
