NAIROBI: Kenya’s central bank said on Friday it was offering 8 billion shillings ($78.24 million) into the money markets using reverse repurchase agreements.
Traders have said the reverse repo offerings help ensure smaller banks have access to shilling liquidity, which the central bank has said tends to be skewed towards larger lenders in the Kenyan market.
