Indonesian business friendly policies boosts trade ties with other countries

JAKARTA: Indonesia’s Consul General Saut Siringoringo   said that liability business with Indonesia had become very moderate, and that it had improved the country’s trade relations with the other nations He was speaking at a seminar on ‘Doing Business with Indonesia ‘prepared by the Cochin Chamber of Commerce and Industry (CCCI) here He said Indonesia was among the top 40 countries in the global competitiveness index (GCI)

“The Indonesian government has simplified the licensing process.“The time to get license for doing business has come down from 1,125 days to 221 days,” he said, and invited the business heads at the seminar to the trade expo to be held in Indonesia in October.  He also offered personal attention to investors who wish to invest in Indonesia. On the occasion, the Consul General made a presentation on the investment opportunities in Indonesia, for the people present for the seminar. He also made a presentation on the upcoming trade expo with the theme ‘Trade with Remarkable Indonesia The seminar was organized by the CCCI, in partnership with the Consulate General of the Republic of Indonesia, Mumbai, Embassy of the Republic of Indonesia, New Delhi, and the Indonesian Trade Promotion Centre (ITPC), Chennai.
