KHANEWAL: A Khidmat Card Centre has been set up at District Jinnah Library to issue free service card to kiln labourers.
DCO Khalid Mahmood Sheikh said that it would start working from May 1. He said the card would enable labourers to draw cash for freed education to their children and would help meet their daily financial needs.
DOC Iftikhar Ali has deputed as focal person of the Khidmat Centre. Cards would be distributed till May 15. Six counters including reception counter, registration counter, telecommunication counter, Bank of Punjab counter, Education and Refreshment counters had been established at the said centre.
