MNAs Shah Mahmood Qureshi, Rashid Godail and Mahmood Khan Achakzai were of the view that it was a positive proposal to broadcast live the proceedings of the National Assembly during debate on budget.

Minister for Defence Production Rana Tanveer on the issue asked the opposition leader to not bring a new tradition as it was never done in the past.

Syed Khursheed Shah, however, insisted for live coverage of the proceedings and staged walkout on the issue.
