With the appointment of Collector Imran Sajjad Bukhari, the Khuzdar Customs Collectorate was set into motion. Upon assuming his role, Collector Bukhari promptly mobilized all officers, including Deputy Collector Rana Umair, and the entire staff.

In a short amount of time, the Khuzdar Collectorate has conducted numerous successful operations, resulting in the seizure of drugs and other illicit goods. Presently, the Khuzdar Customs Collectorate stands as a significant deterrent to the unlawful transportation of inter-provincial food items.

To ensure robust oversight, the Khuzdar Customs has implemented an efficient system for scrutinizing No Objection Certificates (NOCs) and invoices used for the transportation of food items. This system involves daily verification from provincial departments such as Agriculture, Industries, Commerce, and Local Administration.

Over the past five months of its operation, the Collectorate has successfully foiled attempts to smuggle foreign goods worth over Rs250 million. The Deputy Collector, Superintendent, Inspector, and other staff members have actively participated in numerous triumphant operations. In recognition of their exceptional performance, Collector Imran Sajjad Bukhari consistently rewards them with certificates.

The vigilant Khuzdar Customs personnel remain on a 24-hour alert at checkpoints, playing a pivotal role in curbing the illicit business of smuggling.
