Khyber Pakhtunkhwa Revenue Authority organizes workshop on sales tax

PESHAWAR: The Khyber Pakhtunkhwa Revenue Authority (KPRA) has organized a one day training workshop about sales tax on services and special procedure for withholding regulation.

The aim of the workshop was to enhance the capacity of the finance officers on withholding regulations for better sales tax cut on services. The workshop participants included 35 officials from various Khyber Pakhtunkhwa government departments whose awareness and role in the implementation of the regulation is of vital importance.

Besides departmental representatives, Muhammad Israr, Secretary Excise, Taxation and Narcotics Control, Javed Marwat, Director General KPRA, Nasir Khan, Director General Excise Taxation and Narcotics Control, Shah Nawaz Khan Director Operations KPRA, Abdul Siddique, Director Audit KPRA, Fazle Amin Shah, DC KPRA, Zulfiqar Ali, DC KPRA, Amin and Jawad of Pakistan Revenue Automation Limited (PRAL) was also present on the occasion.

The workshop was organized in collaboration with the SGGP implemented by the Deutsche Gesellschaft fur Internationale Zusammenarbiet (GIZ) GmbH on behalf of German government.
