CANBERRA: Official images of the 2015 Picanto are not available at this point, although Kia has announced plans to bring the facelifted of the Morning to next month’s Geneva Motor Show and plans to brings the hatchback at car dealership in South Korea, but we managed to obtain more pics.
The version commercialized in Europe will look virtually the same. And 2015 Kia Morning facelift will be available with fresh 14-inch alloy wheels and an optional sport pack compatible with both three- and five-door body styles.
The interior of Picanto facelift, in there we can find a new chrome accents surrounding the air vents and instrument binnacle, along with a new upholstery pattern and a slightly revised center dashboard which can optionally host Kia’s AVN (audio video navigation) system packing a 7-inch touchscreen display. Other notable highlights that the vehicle will be available with a speed limiter system as well as cruise control while new interior color packs are going to be offered as well.
The all-new Kia Picanto will be optionally available with larger front brakes measuring 252mm (compared to standard 241mm) which will enable the South Korean hatchback to stop from 62 miles-per-hour (100 km/h) in 37 meters, representing an improvement of 2 meters. The car power is provided by 69 horsepower 1.0-liter MPI naturally aspirated gasoline engine has also been revised in order to meet the latest Euro 6 emissions standards.
Deliveries of the car will commence late next month but the aforementioned AVN system won’t be available until Q3.
