ISLAMABAD: Director General Investigation & Intelligence Riaz Khan said that kidnapping of customs officials in Jewani area of Gwadar is a serious matter which cannot be tolerated.

He said this is the first time that customs officers are kidnapped. He said that as per eye witnesses and sources, 12 armed kidnappers intercepted customs officials and took them to an unknown place. He also said that no faction yet claimed responsibility of the incident so ‘we have no clue of their whereabouts’. He hoped that law enforcement agencies would soon recover these customs officials.
