WASHINGTON: The Lithuanian state seaport of Klaipeda posted a net profit of 25.3 mln euros for the three quarters of this year, up 33% from 19 mln euros in the same period last year, informs LETA/BNS.
The port’s authority said earlier this month that the port’s revenue for January through September increased by 5.9% year-on-year to 37.02 mln euros. The port handled 29.895 mln tons of cargo during the 9 months, a rise of 3.4% on the same time last year.
