Kohat customs impounds goods loaded truck

PESHAWAR: The Customs Station at Kohat division seized a truck carrying non-customs paid goods.

The customs police officer stopped the truck and found goods worth millions of rupees. When the driver was asked about the legal status of the goods, he failed to prove anything. So the authorities concerned impounded the truck and arrested the driver. The truck was bound for Peshawar. Customs official at Kohat division Rahmat Shah foiled the attempt to smuggle non-duty paid goods into Peshawar.
