Kohat Customs to hold auction of NDP vehicle today

KOHAT: Customs Station Kohat will hold auction of non-duty paid goods and vehicles today (Tuesday) January 23, 2018 to earn revenue.

Sources told Customs Today, that vehicles which will be offered for auction includes foreign origin Toyota Hilux Surf chassis no: LN130-7013365, one unit Catterpiller chassis , Toyota Model 1991,  Toyota Corolla GM car, Toyota Wish Model 2003, Toyota Fielder Model 2003, Toyota Corolla Model 2003.

Sources told that most of these vehicles were impounded by Customs Intelligence and Investigation anti smuggling squads during their different operations against smuggling.

Sources told that Collector of Customs Peshawar Gul Rehman is quite optimistic that auction of these non duty paid vehicles help to generate handsome revenue which will helpful for the Collectorate to achieve  revenue collection target of current Fiscal Year 2017-18.

Souces told that Customs Collectorate Peshawar is also planning to hold auction of non duty paid goods and vehicles in near future.
