Korea’s role in this global campaign is very crucial, Girardin said. Because Korea being the technology giant can help developing such technologies that would reduce the emission of harmful gases warming earth’s temperature, Girardin added.
Girardin, during a a press meeting at French Ambassador Jerome Pasquier’s residence in Seoul, said, “Technology transfer, especially green technology, is one of the core issues that will be discussed during the Paris Climate Change Conference in December”.

The GCF was introduced to provide developing countries with financial help so they can continue their fight against climate change.
It was found that when Giradin visited Korea for the World Education Forum in Songdo, Incheon, leading the French delegation, she noted that Korea is one of the most important members with whom the French government can work to make the Paris summit a success.
