He said the actual revenue that the collection raised, was however, GH¢102,655,696, making a difference of GH¢7,825,696, which represented eight per cent in excess.

Mr. Adochim said for the second quarter, the revenue target of the Collection was GH¢105,460,000, and the actual revenue gained was GH¢116,542,299.

He said this also exceeded the revenue target by GH¢11,082,299, which meant the Collection had exceeded its revenue target by 11 per cent.

Mr. Adochim said the good performance, was as a result of a number of measures that had been put in place by Mr. Desmond Abbey, KIA Collection Commander, to enhance revenue collection.

“Officers are being motivated through pep talks, whilst a task force has also been set up to boost revenue collection, among other measures,” said the PRO.

Mr. Adochim said KIA was very likely to excel in its revenue collection for the third sector of the year, “looking at the present level of performance”.
