KP budget: Rs 540m allocated for 11 projects of housing sector

PESHAWAR: Khyber Pakhtunkhwa has allocated Rs 540 million for 11 projects of Housing sector for the fiscal year 2016-17.

According to budget documents, among the 11 projects of Housing sector some new schemes included preparation of a comprehensive plan for construction of houses for low income people, ensuring purchase of 17,11000 kanal land for Peshawar Model Town.

Similarly, the projects also include purchasing of 800 kanal land for construction of access road of Peshawar Model Town with Express Way to G.T road (Taru Jabba).

The Housing projects also include possession of 1755 kanal non-estate land for construction of Township in Hangu while land would also be purchased for Motorway Nowshera city.
