PESHAWAR: The Public Accounts Committee of Khyber Pakhtunkhwa Assembly has directed the Excise & Taxation Department to recover Rs 15 million property tax within two months.
The PAC meeting was held under the chairmanship of Speaker Asad Qaiser in the Conference Room of the Assembly. MPAs Mohammad Idrees Khan, Syed Mohammad Ali Shah, Qurban Ali Khan, Mufti Said Janan, Mehmood Khan Bhatni and Secretary Excise & Taxation Mehmood Jan, Director General Audit, Deputy Secretary, Law Department, Additional Secretary Assembly Amjad Ali and other higher authorities also attended the meeting.
The meeting discussed audit objections regarding Excise & Taxation Department regarding financial year 2012-13 in details.
