KP govt constitutes Sugarcane Control Board for year 2016-17

PESHAWAR: The provincial government of Khyber Pakhtunkhwa has constituted Provincial Sugarcane Control Board for the financial year 2016-17.

The Director Food will be the Cane Commissioner/Chairman of the board while members will include Director General (DG) Agriculture (Extension), Director Industries, Director Sugar Crop Research Institute, Registrar Cooperative Societies and representatives of each sugar mill in the province.

Similarly, the growers will be represented by the representatives of the sugar mills concerned while include Ihtesham Khan, resident of Kafoor Dheri (Khazana Sugar Mills), Haji Niamat Shah Roghani, resident of Sawaldher (Premier Sugar Mills), Javed Khalid, resident of Daudkhel (Bannu Sugar Mills), Malik Abdul Razaq (Cheshma Sugar Mills-Extension), Azmatullah Khan (Cheshma Sugar Mills , Ramak D.I. Khan), Khalid Saleem (Tandianwala Sugar Mills, D.I.Khan), Ghazanfar Alizai (Al-Moiz Sugar Mills, D.I. Khan).
