During the operation, vehicle registration documents, number plates, and token tax records were thoroughly inspected.

Legal action was taken against vehicles found involved in violations including non-registration, use of illegal number plates, and non-payment of token tax. Several vehicle owners were also sensitized on the spot regarding compliance with traffic and taxation laws and the timely payment of government dues.

Speaking on the occasion, Excise and Taxation Officer Masaud-ul-Haq stated that the use of unregistered vehicles and vehicles lacking proper legal documentation not only constitutes a violation of the law but also creates hurdles in crime prevention and vehicle identification.

He further said that token tax is an important source of public revenue and its timely payment is the responsibility of every citizen.

He urged the public to ensure timely registration of their vehicles, use government-approved number plates, and clear token tax dues promptly in order to avoid legal action.

Masaud-ul-Haq added that the special campaign would continue in the future to ensure public convenience, rule of law, and improved revenue collection.
