KP NAB to hold open court on chairman’s directions

PESHAWAR: Khyber Pakhtunkhwa (K-P) National Accountability Bureau (NAB) Director general Farmanullah Khan has announced holding an open court (khuli kucheri) following directions by the NAB chairman.

The decision was taken in light of the directions issued by the NAB Chairman Justice (retd) Javed Iqbal, a statement issued by the NAB’s regional office in the provincial capital stated.

According to details, Justice (retd) Iqbal has directed all NAB director generals of regional bureaus to hold khuli kucheri so that the general public could directly inform the accountability bureau of their grievances besides at the same time, issue directions so that the problems being faced by the general public could be redressed. Complaints could be filed on the spot against peoples involved in corruption, earning money through frauds or those who offer attractive packages on jobs outside the country, announcing fraudulent housing schemes and other issues.
