KP Oil and Gas Company to accelerate hydrocarbon exploration activities

According to the sources, KPK provincial government keeping in view of the increasing demand for energy sector in the province and in the country and help meet hydrocarbon demand in the country established the Company in 2013.

The sources further said that in a short span of two years the company has enhanced and accelerated the oil and gas exploration specially attracting in the foreign investment in the sector and providing fool proof security and other facilities to the investors.

This, they said has opened up a new vistas of opportunities for employment and for the welfare of people.

The sources added that KPK was blessed with huge hydrocarbon deposits as a number of domestic and foreign companies were producing 49000 barrel of oil and 380 MMCFT natural gas per day in the province.

They disclosed that KPOGCL would soon organize Oil and Gas conference here in Islamabad aiming at to attract foreign as well as domestic investors in the field of Hydrocarbon.

They called upon the domestic as well as foreign investors to take optimum benefits from the attractive and investment friendly policies of the government in the province for their own benefit and for the socio economic prosperity of the country.
