KPK Assembly’s budget session to begin from June 15

PESHAWAR: The budget session of Khyber Pakhtunkhwa Assembly has been convened on June 15, 2015, Provincial Minister for Finance, Muzaffar Said advocate would present budget for financial year 2015-16, which would be followed by Supplementary Budget for outgoing financial year of 2014-15.

In this connection, a meeting regarding budget session of the provincial assembly was held here with Speaker Asad Qaiser in the chair. Besides, Finance Minister, Muzaffar Said, Secretary Assembly, Amanullah Khan, Secretary Law, Mohammad Arifeen, Secretary Finance, Mohammad Fahim, Additional Secretary Finance, Daud Khan and other senior officials also attended.

The meeting discussed in details agenda regarding the budget session. However, the Speaker, Asad Qaiser and Finance Minister Muzaffar Said also agreed on the matter that opposition should also be consulted on the agenda of the budget session and they would be taken into confidence regarding the agenda and it could be reviewed after consultations with opposition.
