KPRA declares Friday as working day for essential staff

PESHAWAR: The Khyber Pakhtunkhwa Revenue Authority (KPRA) has announced that, in light of the ongoing financial year closing and the critical importance of revenue-related operations during the final quarter, Friday will be observed as a normal working day for essential staff of the Authority.

According to an official order issued by the KPRA Headquarters, the decision has been taken to ensure uninterrupted progress of key financial and administrative activities, which are vital at this crucial stage of the fiscal cycle.

The last quarter of the financial year is considered particularly significant for revenue collection, reconciliation, and reporting, necessitating enhanced operational readiness and staff availability.

The Director General Ms. Irum Naz, has directed all concerned officers and officials categorized as essential staff to strictly comply with the order and ensure their (attendance) on Fridays as per regular working hours.

The move is aimed at strengthening institutional efficiency, meeting revenue targets, and facilitating timely completion of all pending and ongoing assignments.

All Directors, Collectors, Additional Collectors, and relevant administrative personnel have been informed accordingly.

The authority has emphasized the importance of collective efforts and dedication from its workforce to achieve organizational objectives during this critical period.

The KPRA remains committed to ensuring effective revenue administration and maintaining fiscal discipline in the province through proactive and timely measures.
