KSE dips as investors remain cautious ahead of budget 2015-16

KARACHI: The investors remained cautious, while trading at the Karachi Stock Exchange as the federal budget for fiscal year 2015-16 is being presented today.

The KSE benchmark 100-index lost 45.92 points to drop to 34.39.83 points level till midday on Friday. The stock witnessed the highest trading level of 34148.43 points and lowest level of 33970.90 points, with the total volume of 88,466,980 shares, having Rs5,707,442,482 value.

Earlier, the Karachi Stock Exchange opened flat as benchmark 100-index gained 6.39 points to remain above 34092.13 points level.

On Thursday, KSE gained 177.12 points or 0.52 percent to reach 34085.74 points and volume of 204,581,350 shares. High and low were 34156.24 and 33908.62 respectively. Total volume traded in the market was 204,581,350 shares.
