KARACHI: The Karachi Stock Exchange benchmark 100-index Tuesday started with negative note and down by 50.65 points or 0.15 per cent to 32707.14 points with total volume of 14,893,850 shares.
On Monday, the KSE gained 26.18 points or 0.08 percent to reach 32757.79 points and volume of 248,960,940 shares. The KSE began the new trading week on a negative note as the index fell 63 points or 0.19 percent to 32668.53 percent in early trading.
The market opened at the weekend closing of 32731.61 points and appeared lackluster, going down at the start. Market, however, appeared confidence and as expected by the analysts, showed resilience bouncing back to boosting confidence of the investors.
