KSE drops 89pts, down 0.27% on vigilant trading

KARACHI: The Karachi Stock Exchange benchmark 100-index lost 89.06 points or 0.27 percent to reach 32668.73 points and volume of 173,641,810 shares on Tuesday.

Earlier, the country’s biggest stock market started with negative note and down by 50.65 points or 0.15 per cent to 32707.14 points with total volume of 14,893,850 shares. The benchmark KSE 100-index witnessed highest trading level of 32834.43 and lowest level of 32597.02. The total volume traded in the market was 106,077,820 shares.

High and Low were 32834.43 and 32558.31 respectively. Total volume traded in the market was 173,641,810 shares.

On Monday, the KSE gained 26.18 points or 0.08 percent to reach 32757.79 points and volume of 248,960,940 shares. The KSE began the new trading week on a negative note as the index fell 63 points or 0.19 percent to 32668.53 percent in early trading.
