KSE witnesses variation in trading but remains in green zone

KARACHI: The Karachi Stock Market Friday witnessed variation in trading and remained almost flat as KSE-100 index gained 34.44 points to reach 34629.14 points level till midday.

The KSE recorded the maximum trading level at 34727.52 points and minimum level at 34578.78 points, with 94,945,860 shares, having Rs6,484,783,640 value.

Earlier, the stocks remained in bullish trend on the last trading day as KSE benchmark 100-index added 57.47 points to take the tally to 34652.17 points level in early trading.

On Thursday, the Karachi Stock Exchange benchmark 100-index gained 270.86 points or 0.79 percent to reach 34594.70 points and volume of 208,360,990 shares. Total volume traded in the market was 381,257,570 shares with 377 total traded companies out of which 225 were up 135 were down and 17 were unchanged.
