KU cancels 3 candidates’ admissions over forged Hifz- e- Quran certificates

KARACHI: Over submission of forged or tampered Hifz- e- Quran certificates, the Karachi University cancelled admissions of candidates pertaining to different departments.

On verification from the Wifaq-ul-Madaris al-Arabia, Multan, the Hifz-e-Quran certificates submitted by Saddam Khan, Class B.A.(Hons), Economics Department; Muhammad Saeed Khan, Class BPA, Public Administration Department and Anees-ur-Rehman Soomro, Class B.E. Chemical Engineering Department were found forged or tampered, KU Director Admissions Dr Khalid M Iraqi said.
