KUWAIT: A citizen and his Egyptian friend were recently arrested with possession of drugs they had imported and were trading in, said security sources.
Narcotics detectives had been tipped off that the men had just imported a shipment of European hashish by air cargo.
After raiding an apartment in Sabah Al-Salem which the suspects rented, the detectives found 1.5 kilograms of hashish, tools used in preparing and packing the drug for sale, sums of money and a weapon. A case was filed and the suspects were referred to relevant authorities.
