KUWAIT CITY: Kuwait Directorate General for Drug Control has seized 500 grams of hashish, 250 grams of ‘Ice’ drug and nabbed three smugglers including a GCC national and a Bedoun here the other day.
According to security sources, when the Directorate General for Drug Control received information about a GCC national involved in drug dealing, a team was formed for investigations. After confirming the information and taking necessary legal measures, the officers arrested the suspect in possession of some drugs.
During interrogations, he confessed that he obtained the drugs from a Bedoun man. The Bedoun suspect, after he was arrested, confessed that he obtained the drugs from an unidentified individual, revealing that he has booked an appointment in advance to meet the latter for buying drugs. On the day of the appointment, the third suspect was arrested in possession of hashish and ‘Ice’ drug.
