KUWAIT: Customs officers at Kuwait International Airport arrested an Asian for smuggling 1,000 narcotic pills with the intention of trafficking.
When the officers checked the Asian’s luggage, they discovered the narcotic pills which were hidden in his clothes. During interrogation, the Asian confessed that he smuggled the narcotics with the intention of selling them.
A case was registered and the Asian was referred to the relevant security department for legal action.
In another incident, an Arab was arrested for smuggling counterfeit wristwatches which he intended to sell in the local market.
