KUWAIT: A Bangladeshi man was arrested at Kuwait International Airport for attempting to smuggle 7 kilograms of marijuana into the country.
According to sources, customs officers were inspecting the luggage of passengers when they noticed a nervous passenger, who had arrived from Bangladesh, holding onto a bag.
They checked the bag and found 7 kilograms of marijuana rolled inside a plastic bag. When they questioned him, he revealed that he was supposed to deliver the package to a man who is waiting for him outside the airport. The suspect was arrested and referred with the confiscated marijuana to the concerned authorities for further investigations.
