KUWAIT CITY: Kuwait Customs has seized illicit 30,000 ‘Tremadol’ pills and nabbed an Egyptian expatriate at Kuwait International Airport here the other day.
According to sources, when customs officers noticed a passenger who had arrived from Cairo trying to evade the inspection area, they stopped him and checked him to find a suspicious bulk around his torso.
They discovered that he had taped 30,000 Tremadol pills packed in sachets around his torso. After he confessed that he was attempting to smuggle the drugs into the country to sell them, he was referred with the drugs to the concerned authorities for investigations and necessary legal action against him.
